In the name of reviving the Chinese nation, in the name of enriching the civilization of the world, here now we would like to avail this opportunity to appeal to you for your kind support to this “Project Pillars” Educational fund-raising Proposal. This proposal is trying hard to help those poor students who are studying very hard with good performance at school and have passed the national college entrance examinations with honors. However, they cannot afford the expensive tuition fees, even though they have received college admission notices as well as those who are studying at college but cannot continue their higher education just because of their poor family’s financial stress.

We are lucky enough to live in a world with modern civilization. As we are doing our best to make contributions to develop the world, we also enjoy the fruits of cultural, scientific and technological development. However, today some Chinese families are way behind the modern civilization, especially in the most populous Sichuan Province of China, due to historical reasons, the remote mountainside villages or urban families with laid-off workers may have an annual income of 3,000rmb (Chinese dollars), but their children have to suffer too much, as their parents can never pay huge sum of money, up to some 10,000 rmb (Chinese dollars) for their children’s college tuition!

As a result, in order to send their children to get college education, the whole family cannot even enjoy a decent meal throughout the year.

Some of those poor and promising students have to eat one meal a day to earn their tuition by doing part-time jobs, finally they have passed out for malnutrition.

More school children have to give up the hope for college education with tears, even if they have received college admission notices. Instead they have to eke out a living.

They are nothing more than teenagers! Many of them might become future great talents for the reviving of the Chinese nation and the enrichment of human civilization. Thousands of these poor and promising students have been filed in our Project of Pillars’ database.

A well - known proverb from the West goes well: "God helps those who help themselves." That is exactly what this project is trying to help. They are studying and working extremely hard to obtain excellent scores, however, they can never overcome their family financial stress. Thus they need God's help. We are looking forward to you and other brothers and sisters’ kind response and support to this program with loving concern.

People all over the world are holding up the two banners of Fair and Justice. For this laws and decrees have been worked out. For some reason or other, so far Fair and Justice have not been fully realized. What a world of difference it makes between different groups of people who grow up under specific circumstances! The best solution to this problem is trying to push forward social welfare services with human love and public donation Bill Gates’ donation of more than half of his wealth to social welfare is certainly thought - provoking. Thus his gracious action has shown us the great truth：Real Fair and Justice come from people’s noble soul and loving care.

We appeal to you to offer your helping hand once more to support this Project with your kind donations to provide scholarships for those poor, hard-working and promising students who are dying for your financial assistance!
